The very Beginning of Biestmilch's Seven

The neck-and-neck race with Lothar Leder in Roth, 2003

2003 I had gigantic finish with Lothar Leder in Roth, I was beaten by only 3 seconds. This was tightest ever finish in longdistance triathlon race.

In 2003, I committed to this huge Triathlon event, »The Quelle Challenge« Roth in Germany. I had just changed from shortcourse to longdistance and to race my friend and Ironman legend, Lothar Leder in the biggest triathlon event in Europe was a tremendous challenge for me. This event was only my 3rd Ironman race.
After finishing second by 3 seconds in the closest Ironman race in history, I spent a few days in Germany with Lothar Leder recovering from the race. It was during this time that I was introduced to Dr. Susann Kraeftner, a sponsor and good friend of Lothar Leder. She is the owner of a company marketing Biestmilch (colostrum). Biestmilch is a substance that I had read extensively about and my interest in Biestmilch and its beneficial effects for endurance racers sparked my friendship with Susann.
Since then we stayed in contact and came closer and closer to each other. This year we decided to share our businesses and go together for other goals.
We founded the company Biestmilch's Seven. Under this company we shall market this incredible substance in future.

2004 I broke the 8 hours and therefore became more established in Germany. But I did not know yet that Germany was going to develop to a major home base for me.

In 2004 I came back to race the Challenge in Roth again. This time I wanted to break the magic mark of 8 hours, again I assumed Lothar to be my »adversary No. 1«, as he has won this race three times. So I expected a tough race. I arrived well preprared, trained and skinny, fully determined, and I succeeded. Nobody really threatened me. This was the second time I met Susann. Here we already discussed our plans for the future more seriously.

We had held contact all the way through, we met in Hawaii, where I experienced my first big disaster. And we realized that we get along together extremely well. Our friendship began to develop soundly.

In 2004 I gave autographs together with the local heroes Nicole and Lother Leder. It was good for me to position myself a bit more in Germany.

Hawaii and nothing else

This monkey on my shoulder did not allow me to focus on anything else. First of all I had to gain this title. Susann and I had talked a lot about starting a business together in Australia. But from the beginning it was clear that this would not be possible before I had won the worldchampionship title.
And again things turned out differently. I won Hawaii, and suddenly I knew that the US was going to become my third home and business base. Australia is too small and too far away. So, we founded our first company BIESTMILCH's SEVEN in Wiesbaden with big plans to extend business to overseas.

Biestmilch's Seven is our company

The company is already founded. We are six guys and the BIEST. Our goal is to develop a market for this powerful substance, so very much underestimated worldwide. I believe in that stuff and I trust the guys. They are all special and everybody has his/her field of expertise. We join forces to chase and catch our dreams together.
Biestmilch’s Seven is a think tank and group of motivated individuals with different strengths and weaknesses that are striving towards a single goal. Our goal is to show people the lifestyle that we live and to encourage them to think outside the circle that is thrust upon us all today.

Our focus is on health, wellbeing, fitness, clarity, honesty, trust and modulation and we view our ideologies, fitness programs and business direction with these key ingredients. Over my many years of travel, these are the strengths I hold most true and the Biestmilch’s Seven are 5 other individuals I have met with the same ideologies. Together as a Team we think we can spread the message deeper and faster and encourage people to think. During the months and years to come I hope you will get to know us a little better and enjoy our blogs, stories and products.

Myself in a slightly different role

Since being a world champion I have to get used to multi-tasking! It is not easy to focus on so many things, I have ,must admit.
