The 2nd year for this event the Ironman 70.3 distance race will take part in the brutally hot conditions of China. The Ironman China will take part on the same day and is the biggest Ironman event in Asia. The Island of Haiakou is 1 hour flight from Hong Kong. The race was selected as the final event in a series of hot weather races for myself. It will be a very tough challenge and the opportunity for me to access whether Ironman China may be an event I consider in the future.
