A Brief History

It's Taper Time

You know as every year goes past, I think I enjoy my Ironman builds more and more. For the first time in my entire career, I was able to link up for a build with kiwi Ironman legend Cameron Brown. I had originally planned to arrive in Europe for the Ironman 70.3 event in Austria and then fly down to Zurich to train with friend and fellow Biestmilch athlete, Ronnie Schildknecht. Just prior to Austria I heard that Cameron was coming to Germany to compete also. He was going to base just out of Frankfurt in the town I had spent most of last year preparing out of. It was a much easier fit, and on a tight training schedule, it took out travel time to and from Switzerland and gave me a better opportunity to train over the course in Frankfurt.
